Permitted Activities

You can visit the UK for:

• Business meetings or negotiations
• Attending trade fairs, seminars, or conferences
• Conducting site inspections or feasibility studies
• Signing deals or contracts
• Giving a one-off or short series of talks (not for profit)
• Receiving training (if it's not available in your home country)

Who Can Apply?

• Business professionals, entrepreneurs, or employees of overseas companies
• Clients or partners of UK-based companies
• Representatives of foreign businesses looking to establish relations in the UK

You must show that you intend to leave the UK at the end of your visit and have sufficient funds to support yourself during your stay.

What You Cannot Do

• Do paid or unpaid work for a UK company
• Access public funds or live in the UK for long periods
• Study or switch to another visa category while in the UK

• Standard validity: up to 6 months
• Long-term business visit visas: 2, 5, or 10 years (visit up to 6 months per trip)
